Vizualist for Publishers

Vizualist was originally  developed for higher education publishers, and has evolved with the industry to become an easy-to-use solution tuned to the unique needs of creating learning content for any audience at scale.

Easy-to-manage team-based projects and permissions

Vizualist was built to fit into any content production workflow. With project based assignment an role-based access, administrators and project managers can rapidly integrate Vizualist tools while maintaining control.

  • Quickly spin up projects and assign members
  • Administrators have broad control, and can assign rights to members for specific projects
  • Manage access for in-house and out-of-house content producers

Accessibility

We consider every accessibility angle before we even start coding, and then we test (and retest) every new feature we develop. ; 3.) We’ve built feedback loops with our partners to ensure that we're as inclusive as possible when considering new features.

  • Vizualist outputs are WCAG 2.1 tested. View our VPATs here.
  • WCAG 2.2 in Fall 2024!
  • We’ve partnered with outside experts for continuous monitoring to keep our VPATs refreshed

Production Efficiencies

Since publishers and other content organizations need to work efficiently, and often across many projects, our newly redesigned production dashboard makes bulk management easy from a single screen.

  • Search for assets across all projects by name, tag, and/or type
  • Bulk asset management: copy, move, delete
  • Publish and update multiple objects at once
  • Bulk upload data to interactive tables

Easy to Export and Publish

Vizualist visualizations are hosted on the cloud and published into your content with a simple embed code.

  • Easy to Export. Simply copy a share code from the visualization itself, or from the dashboard.
  • Easy to Embed. Copy the Vizualist embed code and drop it into your courseware.

Easy to Update

Update visualizations right from the Vizualist dashboard with a couple simple clicks - the changes go straight to the published version, without all the overhead of a software release.

  • Simply make the changes in the editor for any Vizualist visualization, and then "republish."
  • Changes are copied to the cloud, and the visualization updates automatically wherever it is linked.
  • You can update an visualization at any time.

Save time and effort with scalable table tools

If your program publishes tables in both print and digital formats, start with digital using Vizualist, then create the print outputs second.

Since Vizualist tables are accessible to screen readers, there is no need to create long-description alt-text as you would if you dropped a flat print table into your digital product.
